In 1959 Josef Soltis, who was educated as a fine watchmaker, opened the doors of Josef’s Jewelers
providing the Memphis Area with a family owned and operated fine jewelry store. Continuing his legacy is
his son Stan Soltis along with daughter in law, Charlene, who own and operate the store,
with the help of his son in law Mark Eckroth as the master bench jeweler.
